Malea Robinson is a life-long Birmingham native who graduated from Erwin High School. Married with two children, Malea was actually born in the St. Vincent’s hospital in which she now works. Dating back to 2004, Malea has spent her entire professional career with Dr. Smith, and over that time has developed an extensive knowledge of medical workers compensation programs, a specialty of Dr. Smith’s practice. In her role as Clinical Coordinator she manages all aspects of patient care, from admission, to intervention to discharge. In her personal time Malea and her family are active supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, enjoy weekends at the lake, boating and watching SEC football.
SARA V. THOMPSON, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
Sara Thompson graduated from Samford University in 2002 with a B. S. in Nursing. She practiced as a Registered Nurse for 2 years in the emergency department at Baptist Montclair before obtaining a M. S. in nursing from Samford University in 2004. Sara is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has had experience in mental health, internal/family medicine, and occupational health. She began working with Dr. Smith in October of 2013 and has received certified training in orthopedic procedures. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Central Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association, and Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama.
